Anime Festival Asia (Thailand) 2016

AFA Thailand concluded last weekend in the capital of Thailand; Bangkok. I had the chance to be there on the last day of the event and here are some of my videos and photographs! Held at the Paragon Mall in Siam, the event was happening in the heart of the city. The event location was easy to locate and very accessible by train.

The play Station zone was promoting Final Fantasy XV. The standee was reminisce of Korean boy band groups ahhaa.

 

 

There was a booth selling cosplay photography prints of all the cosplay guests. Business seemed pretty good.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And apparently a new Evangelion Store is opening in Bangkok, MBK Centre soon! I’m sure the thailand fans in Bangkok must be thrilled!

 

 

 

 

 

Cozprize studio and Canon (2nd picture) had massive photo studios available for attendees to experience.

 

 

 

Many different booths were on exhbition.

 

 

 

I was able to catch Hana, Baozi and Angie on the Akiba Stage. The crowd was enthusiastic and participative.  Especially during the QnA session for Hana and Baozi hahha.

 

 

 

Asuna and Kirito even made a special appearance in thailand’s traditional costume, hahaha.

 

Not forgetting the overwhelming presence of Love Live! too. They had a mini stage with cardboard standee of their own…

 

… along witht heir very own worshipper hahaha.

 

There were a lot of cosplayers too even though it was a Sunday. Someone even cosplayed as Spark from the popular mobile game; Pokemon Go!
