Voice Actor Noriaki Sugiyama & Cosplayer KANAME☆to guest @ SMASH!

SMASH! has announced 2 more international guests for their event this year! They are namely high profile Voice Actor Noriaki Sugiyama and Cosplayer Kaname!

In conjunction with The Japan Foundation, Sydney, SMASH! has invited high-profile voice actor Noriaki Sugiyama to grace the event this year. Noriaki Sugiyama is a Japanese voice actor who is best known for his roles as Uryu Ishida (BLEACH) , Shiro Emiya (Fate/Stay Night), England (Axis Power Hetalia) and WIlliam.T.Spears (Black Butler). Hacing worked int he industry for over a decade now, Sugiyama has also voiced many characters for Video Games and television shows such as Sengoku Basara 3, Suel Savior, ATelier Ayesha and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle.



Aside from his work as a voice actor, Sugiyama proves he is more than just a voice-actor. Sugiyama has released his own single entitled ‘Fragment” and a mini album “ On The Way”. His character image CD as England from the popular series Hetalia debuted 2nd place on the Oricon Singles Chart.



Sugiyama’s most notable role to date is none other than Uchiha Sasuke, also known as the antagonist from one of Japan’s successful Anime series, Naruto.

The 2nd international Cosplay guests to be announced is KANAME☆ from Japan.


Since his debut at Comiket (2007), KANAME☆ has cosplayed a variety of anime and gaming characters. However, it was his portrayal as Final Fantasy VII Advent Children’s Cloud Strife that catapulted him to worldwide fame. Other notable cosplays include Kurosaki Ichigo from Bleach, Mukuro Rokudo from Katekyo Hitman REBORN!, and more recently, Eren Jaeger from the popular anime series, Attack on Titan.


This will be KANAME☆'s debut visit to Sydney, Australia.
